About Jenny
Hi my name is Jenny Ortiz and I am the founder and owner of Tea Time Cakes.
Creative endeavors have always been a passion of mine. From cutting hair to helping my mother sew, I enjoy turning what is in my imagination into reality. A trait I definitely inherited from my mother, who knits and crochets baby clothes from scratch and is a talented seamstress and embroiderer. I started making cakes and cupcakes just on a whim because I found myself needing a creative outlet after having free time when I retired as a professional cheerleader for the NFL’s Miami Dolphins. When I discovered how rewarding and fun it was to make cakes for special events I knew that I had found my niche. It started out as just a hobby where I made cakes for my family and friends. They were such a hit and the talk of the party that soon I was getting requests to make my cakes, cupcakes and mini cakes for weddings, engagements parties and corporate events. The rest is history.
Tea Time Cakes has been a success and I am proud of what I can contribute to make special events more memorable.
